After nearly 5 years in business, Kasvaa is celebrating with a new website, powered by Hubspot CMS. Our purpose in doing this was to make it easier for you to receive content and updates from our company, to employ the very methods that we advise our clients to pursue and to better focus our attention on our target customer, CEOs of small-to-medium-sized businesses.
First, this website and marketing tools make it easier for Kasvaa to maintain a 1-to-1 relationship with our audience. Who is our audience? If you are reading it, it’s probably you. Broadly speaking, we have three audiences:
- CEOs of small businesses (typically, $3-$30MM in revenue)
- The great consultants who work with us on solving client problems
- Referral partners
Most of you reading this fall into that last bucket. The great Tom Petty sang, “Good love is hard to find. You got lucky, babe, when I found you.” Love is hard to find. So are good client relationships! We think our clients are lucky to have us and we know we are lucky to have them. In many cases, those relationships come from great people who connect us with folks who have business needs. Personally, I love new relationships and the endless possibilities that could unfold before us. Our new site and content management system will allow us to send you more timely and meaningful messages, so we can stay top of mind for your connections. We hope you will think of us. And, not for nothing, we love paying referral fees!
Second, this new website is what software engineers call “dogfooding,” that is to say, eat the thing you are making. At Kasvaa, we “make” ideas and guidance on how to grow. Then we follow up on the ideas with a team of people who can make it happen. Many of our clients struggle to find new business opportunities and settle for hiring lead generation companies that promise to harness AI to drop dozens of daily opportunities in their laps. However, these companies skip a critical step, which is to create and maintain a point of view in marketing that allows their customers to receive their value before the customer actually pays. Marketing needs to work hand-in-hand with sales by delivering prospects who understand what you do and how you do it. This enables the salesperson to drive the conversation to specifics more quickly.
For us, it’s critical that we remind our audience about the work we do and how critical growth is for the survival of our firms.
Finally, our new website is a simplification of our message to our core audience. When we started 5 years ago, we weren’t exactly sure who we were or what we wanted to be. We were (and still are) a growth consultancy. That means we help companies to grow. But as we have done this for dozens of clients, we now see what we really do is bring a team of experts that a small business can actually afford (because we bring the team on a part-time basis). As you peruse our website, you should feel that connection to our core customer.
As always, we thank you for your support. To continue getting our articles and case studies, please sign up for our newsletter.
Best,
